Terms & Conditions
“The client(s)” shall be those persons defined in the booking form. In the following terms & conditions “the photographer” is myself Jenny Thornhill of Thornhill Photography. It is mutually agreed that the following terms of agreement form an integral part of this contract and cannot be varied in any way by the client(s) unless such conditions are expressly agreed by the photographer in writing. By booking with the photographer you agree to the below Terms and Conditions.
All copyright of photographic images belongs to the photographer.
The client(s) hereby allow(s) the photographer to display any photographic images covered by this contract and to generally promote the business in advertising, brochures, magazine articles, calendars, websites, social media, photo competitions, sample albums, commercial photography,..etc.
It is your responsibility to tell the photographer if you feel that the location or situation put your pet or family member in danger. If your dog needs to stay on the lead or cannot do certain things (for medical or other reasons) you need to inform the photographer. If your animal is aggressive you also are required to mention it to the photographer to keep everybody safe. The photographer has the right to stop the session if they are concerned about the dog’s welfare, safety or behaviour during the session (no refunds provided).
Session Fee: Full payment is required at the time of booking, the appointment can be changed up to 10 working days before the portrait session. Booking fees are nontransferable and nonrefundable, once the session has taken place, the booking fee is credited 100% into your post session store choices/online gallery.
No show: If for any reason after receiving your confirmation, you fail to attend your pet portrait appointment (or do not give enough notice), you will lose your full booking fees. You are entitled to a maximum of one appointment change (up to 10 working days before the session) after which you will lose your booking fees.
Order & Artwork: Downloads & Artwork are payable via your Online Gallery (Card / Bank Transfer). Please note your Downloads and products will be ordered once the payment has cleared. Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled, amended or refunded. Products will be ready to either collect from me or posted out to your address, within a reasonable timescale (up to 4 weeks from order date) once received from my printing lab. You are not entitled to a refund of the portrait session if you do not wish to purchase any images.
Postponement Due To Adverse Weather: If the appointment has to be cancelled by Thornhill Photography due to adverse weather conditions a new, mutually agreed appointment will be made with no additional charge.
Photography session travelling distance: Session Fees include travelling expenses up to 25 miles from the CW9 area postcode. Locations further away are charged at 45 pence per mile after the first 25 miles.
Digital Files: When purchasing digital files the you are responsible to keep them safe and to make duplicates. Any request for additional digital image duplicates from the photographer will incur additional charges. Digital files are provided as JPEG only and edited in my style.
High Resolution Files are Watermark Free, whilst Low Resolution are Watermarked.
Online Gallery: All sessions include access to an Online Gallery. Products are purchased via the online gallery. Sales and payment plans are final. The Online Gallery will contain the best images from your session (images that do not meet my quality control will be discarded). The number of images provided for viewing will be at the photographer’s discretion. Images will remain on the Online Gallery for 6 months, after this time, we reserve the right to delete the images.
Cameras of any kind are not permitted at our shoots
Should Thornhill Photography have to cancel the appointment for reasons beyond their control (death, injury, sickness, etc.), their liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid.
Thornhill Photography will keep your images on file for at least six months after which your images may be deleted.
In the event of any situation out of our control (corona virus, storm, fire, etc) we will postpone the sessions and reschedule once our doors reopen.
